The late Stan Lee leaves behind a legacy of superhero characterswho will live on forever. This prolific genius created, or co-created, icons like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther, X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and so many more. He was the creative leader of Marvel which dominated the comics industry and later expanded into a corporation which now dominates the movie business. Making memorable cameo appearances in the Marvel films, Lee continued working right up until his death in November 2018 at the age of 95. Perhaps his greatest legacy is in making the world understand through his characters that ordinary people can become extraordinary. His was certainly an extraordinary life and Hollywood International Filmmaker Magazine, whose publisher Jimmy Jiang was friendly with Stan, is honored to pay tribute to him in our pages.
