Steven Spielberg’s filmmaker daughter is to direct an action movie from the producers of the John Wick franchise.
Destry Spielberg will make her feature film debut behind the camera on Four Assassins.
She landed the job after impressing with her short film The Right Way, which was called the ultimate “nepo-baby” production as it starred Sean Penn’s son Hopper and was written by Stephen King’s son, Owen.
Spielberg said she was “thrilled and honored” to make the film for Thunder Road Pictures, who are also developing a John Wick spin off movie called The Ballerina with Ana de Armas starring.
